“Morfas Films” is the film division of the Morfasson brand (yuck, why am I using the  word brand?) It  takes us beyond my regular literary, fictional world to include documentaries, ‘vlogumentaries’, experimental stuff and a whole lot more. Midnight Visitor is the first  live-action screen adaptation of a Morvaverse story- The story of Marco, who makes his way downstairs and finds his twice great grandpappy Max sipping his brother’s vodka. It will hopefully be accompanied by Marco: Gods To Ghosts, a mini documentary looking at the origins of the character and the making of the film. Both of these have been delayed by COVID-19, but we’re looking to get back on track soon.

Celluloid is a monthly vlog series about life, the universe (or Wales, anyway) and pretty much everything. Expect archery montages, shirtless scenes (though not together), character cameos in the form of psycho-manifestations and, from Volume 2 onwards, an increasingly incomprehensible story arc involving a Funko Pop, a temporal French harp (magic time travelling harmonica) and the Death warrant of Charles I. It’s pretentious, it’s up itself, but isn’t that what celluloid is supposed to be?

Everyone loves a good postcard. So think of yourself as the postman reading those postcards, and you’ve got Dear Connor, a series of travel vlogs spun off from the written pieces. Right now I’m mostly bumming around my own back yard, but I’m hoping to get out into the big wide somewhere soon.

We Happy Few– Who doesn’t love a bit of Shakespeare? This ambient, short film was my own take on the Band Of Brothers speech from Henry V, and there may be more like this in future.
